Previously, I was a content writer and, for a short time, managing editor for FunNewJersey.com. I want to be a tutor because I feel that I have a good understanding of reading and writing and can assist students who are struggling in those areas.

Hobbies
Aside from reading, some of my hobbies include running, hiking and watching movies. There is nothing I love more than sitting down with a good book, reading, and analyzing the story to truly understand what the author is trying to convey, but I also enjoy movies because they offer a different perspective to the story. My hobbies of running and hiking come from my love of the outdoors and my need for stress relief. When I am running (which I do almost every morning), I wash away the stress from the day before and clear my head so I can start each day with a new-found sense of determination and self-motivation. Hiking provides the same outlets for me, while also allowing me to challenge myself to reach new goals.
